Strategic Participation to Strengthen Cooperation with Syria

Ahmed AlSebai, General Manager of the Group, affirmed that the company’s participation reflects Egypt’s strategic commitment to boost national industries in Arab markets and expand trade with Syria, which he described as a highly promising market for Egyptian exports

“This exhibition provides a vital gateway to the Syrian market and aligns with Egypt’s vision to reinforce regional trade partnerships,” AlSebai stated

Quality Products and Growth Prospects

Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Logistics Director at the Group, highlighted that this participation represents a strategic step to expand the reach of Egyptian food industries. The Group is showcasing a wide range of pasta, flour, and concentrates, which have already established competitiveness globally due to their quality and cost-effectiveness

He pointed out that the fair serves as a pivotal platform for engaging directly with Syrian distributors and importers, enabling the creation of new partnerships and expansion of export channels. Egyptian food exports exceeded $6 billion in 2024, marking a 21% increase compared to the previous year, with Arab countries accounting for nearly 54% of the total

Mahmoud Fahmy, Export Director at the Group, stressed that Syria presents a golden opportunity for Egyptian products thanks to shared culinary traditions and geographical proximity, which enhance logistics and trade flow

“Supporting international trade fairs is among the fastest and most effective approaches to boost Egyptian exports,” Fahmy emphasized
