KEF Reaches 400 Products and Strengthens Export Strategy
Kitchen Equipment Factory (KEF), a subsidiary of Garana Group, has expanded its locally manufactured portfolio to more than 400 products across kitchen, restaurant, hotel, and hospital equipment. This milestone follows the company’s strategic shift toward local manufacturing since 2019, while continuing to develop innovative products that enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian industry in global markets
Hanaa Garana, Chairwoman of Kitchen Equipment Factory (KEF), stated that the company is reinforcing its position in the professional kitchen equipment sector, backed by a strong industrial base specializing in stainless steel manufacturing in line with international standards, alongside ambitious expansion plans both locally and globally
Driving Local Manufacturing and Reducing Imports
Garana explained that KEF is committed to deepening local manufacturing and offering high-quality domestic alternatives, aiming to reduce import dependency while opening new export channels for Egyptian products worldwide
She added: “Over the past eight years, KEF has focused on continuous product development and introducing competitive solutions that match imported products in both quality and price. Today, we have reached 400 products and are working to further expand our portfolio in the coming period

Garana highlighted that KEF has successfully built a strong export network covering African and Arab markets, with a current focus on accelerating international expansion by enhancing product quality and operational efficiency in line with global standards, while also expanding its domestic client base
