Nature Drops for Sterilization is showcasing its latest infrared light sterilization technology for medicinal and aromatic plants during its participation in Fi Africa 2026, taking place from June 2–4. The company’s participation reflects its strategy to expand specialized sterilization and processing services while supporting Egyptian exporters in accessing international markets, particularly across Europe and the United States
The company’s innovative technology focuses on preserving product quality, natural characteristics, color, aroma, and essential oils while ensuring compliance with stringent international food safety and environmental standards
Supporting Exporters with Advanced Sterilization Technology
Engineer Khaled Masalati, Chairman of Nature Drops for Sterilization, stated that the company is currently collaborating with major producers and exporters of medicinal and aromatic plants, including SEKEM, one of Egypt’s leading organic agriculture and medicinal plant companies
Masalati explained that Nature Drops has received samples from numerous exporting companies seeking to benefit from the company’s sterilization technology, reflecting growing interest in innovative processing solutions capable of meeting international market requirements
He added that continuous meetings and technical consultations are being conducted with clients and partners to ensure that the company’s services remain aligned with evolving global health, environmental, and quality regulations
Organic Processing Certification Underway
According to Masalati, Nature Drops is currently pursuing the internationally recognized Organic Processing Certification, which will enable its facility to become a registered and accredited processing center for organic products
He emphasized that obtaining this certification represents a critical milestone, allowing the company to receive, process, and sterilize certified organic raw materials in accordance with internationally approved standards
The company expects its facility to become a fully certified organic processing site within the coming weeks, significantly enhancing its ability to serve exporters and producers operating in premium international markets
European Validation and Accreditation Tests
Masalati also revealed that Nature Drops is cooperating with specialized German organizations and some of Europe’s leading laboratories to conduct comprehensive validation and accreditation tests for its infrared light sterilization technology
The testing program includes rigorous scientific procedures designed to verify sterilization efficiency by measuring microbial loads before and after treatment. The objective is to obtain internationally recognized validation proving that the technology effectively reduces microbial contamination while maintaining the product’s natural properties
He noted that the technology remains relatively new across the Middle East region, positioning Nature Drops as a pioneer in introducing advanced sterilization solutions that address the growing demands of exporters seeking premium-quality products for global markets
Preserving Color and Essential Oils Creates Competitive Advantage
For his part, Mohamed Nour Bawadkji, Co-Founder of Nature Drops for Sterilization, highlighted that one of the most important advantages of the company’s infrared light sterilization technology is its ability to preserve product color and essential oil content
He explained that maintaining these critical quality attributes significantly enhances the value of medicinal and aromatic plants in international markets, particularly in Europe and North America, where buyers place strong emphasis on product quality and natural characteristics
Bawadkji added that exporters benefit from stronger negotiating power and higher export prices when they can offer products that retain their original color, aroma, and essential oil composition
He further noted that traditional processing methods often negatively affect these characteristics, whereas Nature Drops’ technology has been specifically developed to overcome such challenges
Building a New Market for Advanced Sterilization Services
Bawadkji emphasized that participation in international exhibitions and industry events has helped introduce Nature Drops’ services to a broader audience of producers and exporters. The company has also organized educational seminars to increase awareness of infrared light sterilization technology and its commercial benefits
He stressed that Nature Drops primarily targets large-scale producers and exporters of medicinal and aromatic plants, as they are the segment most dependent on certifications, accreditations, and advanced sterilization technologies for successful entry into international markets
Concluding his remarks, Bawadkji affirmed that Nature Drops aims to strengthen its position as a strategic technical partner for exporters by combining cutting-edge technology, international certifications, and deep market expertise, paving the way for a new era in medicinal and aromatic plant sterilization services across Egypt and the wider region
